Journeying Together – An Exhibition of New Art from the L’Arche Daybreak Craft Studio

“Journeying Together” explores the relationships between artists at the L’Arche Daybreak Craft Studio.

“Journeying Together” is a exhibition of L’Arche Daybreak artists at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts in April 2017

Featured in the show are original paintings and several large format photographs which illustrate the creative process between artists at the Craft Studio. Included are pieces by Maria Fimis and Christie Gaidosch who are exhibiting for the first time in an exhibition.

Christie and Debbie Dew, the Program Leader at the Craft Studio talk a bit about the process of becoming an artist in this video.

Jean Vanier states that “painting is a song of the heart. What is important is that we contemplate and give thanks for the hearts of these men and women who have beautiful gifts. As we welcome these artistic gifts, we are welcoming those who have created them.”
